Egypt Expands Air Connectivity with New Cairo Capital Airport Flights to Jeddah

As part of Egypt’s strategic direction to maximize the utilization of newly established airports and enhance integration within the civil aviation system, Capital International Airport has witnessed the launch of the first Air Cairo flights to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. This milestone marks a significant step toward activating air traffic to and from the New Administrative Capital, while also contributing to reducing congestion at major hub airports, particularly Cairo International Airport. The initiative aligns with the government’s broader efforts to strengthen the aviation sector’s economic returns, improve operational efficiency, and support sustainable growth in air transport across the country.
